Since 1963
Over sixty years of awards for the Armed Forces.
L.C. Aguilar (now known as Aguilar Crafts and Styles Enterprises) is a business founded in 1963 by retired U.S. Navy veteran Lucino Castro Aguilar.
Mr. Aguilar was officially authorized by the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief-of-Staff, General Alfredo Santos, to serve as the exclusive distributor and supplier of awards for the AFP.
Today the company makes the full range of military honors and insignia: official AFP awards, miniature medals, medal boxes, ceremonial sabers, belt buckles, streamers and flags, desk signs, rings and keepsakes. Its markers, cut-out letters and building logos stand at Mount Samat National Shrine and Corregidor Island, and at military headquarters across the country.

Questions people ask
Short answers. For anything else, send the crest with your question and we’ll answer it with the render.
Is the render really free?
Yes, when you order. We rebuild your crest as a 3D model and send back a render and a quote. The render costs ₱500, and when you order, we deduct the ₱500 from your total.
What do you need from us to start?
A crest file, a photo of an old plaque, or a sketch on paper. Add the names, dates and the ceremony date if there is one.
How is the price worked out?
Prices depend on size, quantity and how much is etched, so every project is quoted on its own. You see the quote before anything is made.
When is anything paid or etched?
You pay ₱500 for the render first. When you order, we deduct it from your total. Nothing is etched until you approve twice: once on the render and once on the quote.
What sizes do the crystal blocks come in?
80, 150, 200 and 300 mm, in K9 optical crystal, seated in an LED base that lights the etching from below.
Do you make flags for every branch?
Ceremonial flags for the Navy, Army, Air Force, Marine Corps and the AFP, fringed in gold, on a wooden box base or a brass stand.
Where is it made?
In-house in Manila. LC Aguilar has made awards for the Armed Forces of the Philippines since 1963.
